This interactive application can help you determine your FDIC deposit insurance protection for your personal and/or business accounts.

EDIE, the Electronic Deposit Insurance Estimator, is an application designed by the FDIC that lets you calculate your FDIC insurance coverage for each FDIC-insured bank where you have deposit accounts.

Before you begin using EDIE, have a list of the following on hand, so that you can be sure the information you receive from this calculator is accurate:

All deposit accounts you have at FDIC-insured banks

• Current balances
• Names of all account owners and beneficiaries

Business accounts should have the above information, along with:

• Name of the business
• Employer Identification Number (EIN)
